Workshop
Master gunsmith Kevan Healey has more than five decades of knowledge and skill to build the perfect weapon specifically for you. Kevan created Bloemfontein Custom Riffles in 1982 and since then has expanded to reach the great demands of excellence in the world of firearms. Our team specializes in all important components to build and repair firearms. From stock making, re-barreling, metal work and any modifications that you could need.
When Bloemfontein Custom Rifles was established, we started with a small group of workers with such dedication to create and produce full custom made rifles to take pride in. By great demand, we have since expanded to welcome our own stock maker to the team.
Wing Shooting
Hillside Wing Shooting for small groups
Kevan started his weekend hobby of taking clients for Rock Pigeon shooting in 1992. It has since grown so rapidly that he now organizes with hunting groups to take them on trips to the sunflower fields during the week too.
He mainly takes groups that arrange their own accommodation but you can arrange with us beforehand to organize accommodation at a luxurious boutique hotel in a quiet area in Bloemfontein. Or, if you prefer the outdoors we organize accommodation at a Lodge in the countryside.
The main focus of Hillside Wing shooting Safaris is rock pigeons but shoots like Waterfowl, Guinea Fowl and game birds can also be arranged, depending on the time of the season.
From February to June there are normally Pigeons available and from May to August there will be Waterfowl, Guinea fowl and game birds.
Hillside shooting caters for small groups not less than 5 individuals and a maximum of 10 individuals per shoot.
